Vivian Annan is a Family Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years of healthcare experience and currently serves as a Nurse Practitioner with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. She also serves as a Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Army Reserve.
Born in Ghana and raised in the United States, Vivian is passionate about improving access to preventive healthcare and early childhood education in underserved communities. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Brooklyn College, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from SUNY Downstate Medical Center, and a Master of Science in Nursing from Drexel University. She is currently pursuing a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree in conjunction to promoting the mission and vision of Sankoboa Ghana.
As President of Sankoboa Ghana, Vivian provides strategic leadership and works closely with community partners in both the United States and Ghana to develop sustainable programs that support education and preventive healthcare initiatives in rural communities. She believes service to others is the greatest gift a person can give to humanity.

My name is Vivian Ninson, and I am honored to serve as the Secretary of Sankoboa Ghana. As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), I have dedicated my career to caring for others, promoting health and wellness, and advocating for individuals and families in need.
Through my professional experience in healthcare, I have developed strong skills in communication, organization, documentation, patient education, and teamwork. These skills allow me to effectively support the mission and operations of Sankoboa Ghana while helping to build meaningful connections within the communities we serve.
Service has always been important to me. I am passionate about giving back through volunteer work and community outreach efforts that improve the lives of others. I believe that access to education, healthcare, and community support are essential foundations for long-term success and well-being.
As Secretary of Sankoboa Ghana, I am responsible for maintaining organizational records, documenting meetings, supporting communication among board and committee members, and helping ensure that our organization operates efficiently and effectively. I take pride in contributing to the growth and sustainability of our mission.
I am deeply committed to Sankoboa Ghana’s vision of empowering communities through education, preventive health initiatives, and sustainable development. Dr. Theresa Benjamin is a dedicated educational leader with extensive experience in school administration, having served at East Stroudsburg High School South and Lincoln Leadership Academy Charter School. Passionate about youth development and educational excellence, she is the President and Founder of Daughters of Destiny and Hope, a nonprofit organization focused on mentoring, empowering, and inspiring young girls to reach their full potential.
Dr. Benjamin is also an active member of the Philanthropic Education Organization, Chapter CK, where she continues to support initiatives that strengthen education and community engagement. She earned her Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Liberty University, further enhancing her expertise in guiding schools, students, and communities toward meaningful growth, leadership, and lasting success.
